Four years worth of a busy librarian's cursory glances at seemingly interesting reads in the library stacks have prodded  my efforts in creating this blog. Inside, you will view snapshots, summaries, and commentary on books I have retrieved from the shelf in a quick attempt to document their intrigue. Perhaps, so I may remember to read them later. Perhaps, so you, dear reader, may enjoy them. 

My interest in books sprung from an early age in a small town library where my partiality for historical fiction immediately became apparent. Currently, I work at my local public library. I have a BA in English, and I am pursuing my master's degree in Library and Information Science.
